Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of LW Alliance Helper (the "Bot"). By adding LW Alliance Helper to your Discord server and using its features, you agree to these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By inviting LW Alliance Helper to your Discord server or using any of its commands, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please remove the bot from your server.
2. Description of Service
LW Alliance Helper is a Discord bot that provides alliance management tools for players of Last War, including event announcements, train scheduling, Desert Storm and Canyon Storm mail generation, survey collection, birthday tracking, growth reporting, daily Shiny Tasks announcements, member roster sync, and configuration export / import.
The bot integrates with Google Sheets to store and retrieve data on your behalf.
3. Eligibility
LW Alliance Helper is intended for use by alliance leadership teams in Last War. You must be the owner or an administrator of a Discord server to add the bot and run setup commands. You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service when using LW Alliance Helper.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use LW Alliance Helper only for its intended purpose of alliance management within Last War. You must not:
- Use the bot to harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or interfere with the bot's operation
- Use the bot to collect data about users without their knowledge or consent
- Attempt to access configuration data belonging to other servers
- Use the bot in violation of Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
5. Your Google Sheet
When you configure LW Alliance Helper, you grant the bot's service account Editor access to your Google Sheet. You are responsible for the data in your sheet and for managing who has access to it. You can revoke the bot's access at any time by removing the service account from your sheet's sharing settings.
LW Alliance Helper writes data to your sheet on your behalf in response to commands run by your leadership team and automated tasks you configure. We are not responsible for any data loss or errors in your sheet resulting from bot operations.
6. Data and Privacy
Our collection and use of your data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using LW Alliance Helper, you agree to the terms of that policy.
By inviting the bot to your server, you consent to the small install-metadata record described in the Privacy Policy: guild ID, current guild name, server owner Discord ID, the Discord ID of the user who invited the bot (when readable from the audit log), and the install / last-seen timestamps. This record is used only to identify a server when an error needs support follow-up. It is deleted automatically when the bot is removed from a server, and can be deleted on request at any time.
7. Premium Subscriptions
LW Alliance Helper offers a Premium tier for $4.99 USD per month, billed through Discord's App Subscriptions system.
- Billing is handled entirely by Discord. We do not collect or store payment information.
- Cancellation is available at any time through Discord (User Settings → Subscriptions). Premium remains active until the end of the current billing cycle, after which Premium-tier features lock and free-tier caps return.
- Refunds are governed by Discord's refund policy. We do not handle billing disputes.
- Saved data — extra templates, multi-survey configs, scheduled reminders — is preserved when a subscription ends, so resubscribing later restores your configuration.
8. Availability and Uptime
LW Alliance Helper is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted availability of the bot. The bot may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or issues with third-party services (Discord, Google Sheets, or our hosting provider).
We are not liable for any losses or damages resulting from downtime or unavailability.
9. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of LW Alliance Helper at any time, with or without notice. We may add, change, or remove features as the bot is developed. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes.
10. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when they were last updated. Continued use of LW Alliance Helper after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
LW Alliance Helper is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the bot will be error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the bot is free of viruses or other harmful components.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of LW Alliance Helper, including but not limited to data loss, errors in your Google Sheet, or missed event announcements.
13. Not Affiliated with Last War
LW Alliance Helper is an independent tool created for Last War players. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Last War or its developers in any way. "Last War" and related terms are the property of their respective owners.
